Volumetric Batch Conveying and Blending Volumetric feeding is accurate, flexible, simple and low cost. Performance of the Volumetric Feeders can be visually inspected through a clear Plexiglas sleeve. Accurate variation of the measure is easily obtained by replacing the sleeve. The entire system can be programmed for automatic operation. Volumetric Feeders can be incorporated into a system that requires many different ingredients to be mixed together in the process. When the Volumetric Feeders are programmed to convey at the same time to a mix hopper, the material will be blended as it conveyed, reducing the amount of blending needed at the discharge point. After being conveyed a Dense Flow Air Blender may be incorporated to provide a more homogeneous mixture. |
